Winny

The winning streak app

Log your winning streak and keep winning.

Name your wins, big and small. Thirty seconds, and Winny keeps the count.

Winny's Home screen showing a one day streak above the day's logged win.

The method

Three words. That's the whole thing.

  1. Notice.

End of every day, name your wins. Closed a deal, walked the dog, said no. All of them count, and one is enough on the days that is all you have. The smaller you let them be, the more you'll find.

  2. Stack.

Log it in Winny. The streak counter ticks up. You're not chasing a goal; you're collecting proof.

  3. Repeat.

Show up tomorrow. Motivation fades; noticing one win doesn't need any.

The winning streak idea isn't ours. It comes from Charlie "Rocket" Jabaley, who has spent years telling people to count the wins they already had. Notice, Stack and Repeat are our words for it, and Winny is an independent app, not affiliated with Charlie Rocket and not endorsed by him.

Inside the app

Open it. Type one line. Done.

No guilt mechanics, no notifications to dread.

  • Winny's Add Your Win composer, with one line of text typed into it.
Name it. One line is enough.
  • Winny's celebration modal after a win is logged, with confetti.
    Logged. The streak grows.
  • Winny's Home screen, with the day's logged wins listed in a scrollable stack.
    Proof you can scroll through.

The streak resets.You don't.

Winny counts the days you show up, and yes: miss one and the count goes back to zero.

The difference is what the number is for. Other apps make the reset the point: the red X, the broken chain, the forty-seven days you lost. Winny makes the wins the point. Every win you've logged is still there, still yours, still scrollable. The count is only a nudge to come back tomorrow.

What happens when you miss a day

Winny's Home card reading zero day streak, above the line 110 wins on the board.

From the maker

I'm one person, and Winny is the app I wanted for myself: somewhere to name one good thing a day, with no account to make and nothing to keep up with. Nothing you write leaves your phone; the privacy page is the long version of that. Winny is free: no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases. It's new, so there are no reviews to show you yet. Try it and tell me what it's missing.
